Mother’s Pet – SVS wants its children to be HEALTHY, SUCCESSFUL and INDEPENDENT so that they are able to function in the real world, which is a demanding place.
Our GOAL is not to speed up development, but rather, to ensure that each child has the best possible OPPORTUNITY to learn and grow at each stage of development.
Each child is treated as an INDIVIDULAL.
This is our personal SENSE OF PRIDE.
We foster curiosity, creativity and global citizenship. Our experienced teachers are passionate about creating a supportive & inclusive learning environment that challenges and inspires our learners to reach their full potential.
Our efforts are to give the children exposure to the real world and to help them to grow into enlightened youth, who can enliven and enrich the world.
The thematic curriculum of our preschool draws on neuroscientific research, on how the brain learns naturally and which learning experiences are relevant at a particular age and stage in life. Development of opportunities, Brain Compatible Learning and the theory of Multiple Intelligence guide the creativity designed Curriculum for our preschoolers to ensure learning for all children.
The curriculum for grades 1-4 is thoughtfully planned to ensure that each child at school gives these years in learning, discovery and creative engagement. Research on how the brain learns best, development appropriateness, the theory of Multiple Intelligence and the National Curriculum Framework, 2005 have guided the planned curriculum.
All these thoughtful processes ensure the fulfillment of our ultimate goal of teaching in a way that all students learn.
We emphasize on providing an inspiring school environment that enables a shift from rote methods to a course beyond textbooks.
The curriculum aims to provide experiences and opportunities for students to think differently, analyze and evaluate independently and foster a place where we can soften subject boundaries and connect knowledge to life outside the school.
The Middle school curriculum merges seamlessly with the GSEB/CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE boards.
The co-scholastic areas of the middle and Primary school gives the students the opportunity to express themselves – such as arts, drama, music, dance, yoga, karate, chess and community services projects.
Life skills, Moral Values and Physical Education and Outbound Programs such as exhibitions, Debates, Elocution, Presentations, Model Making etc. are also an integral part of the Middle and Primary school curriculum.
Mrs. Rita Mehta
Director
Celebrating 35 years of excellence in education at the PRE-PRIMARY and 13 years in Primary Level in Ahmedabad, MOTHER’S PET – SVS has continuously shared the concern of the children, parents and teachers about quality education. Being the Director of a UNIQUE institute of Ahmedabad, I know first-hand that parents of young children are increasingly aware of exposure and my pioneering efforts in the field of EARLY EDUCATION have given Mother’s Pet a leading edge over other inexperienced educationalists.
With the complete faith and constant demand of parents to continue their child’s education with us, we introduced our primary section in year 2010. And in these 3 years of excellence in education Mother’s Pet-SVS has seen an unparalleled pace of progress.
At Mother’s Pet-SVS our philosophy which developed over a period of time has evolved into the learning programmes and experiences that shape our children today. Just as Eklavya’s target was the bird’s eye, my sole purpose is to develop the individual child through proper training and experiences so that they become HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL. I want to convey this MESSAGE to all children and parents as a HUMAN BEING:
“REMAIN HAPPY UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES”
Every student deserves
a childhood full of enthusiasm and experimentation. This is the right time to
allow them to expand their horizons and spread their wings.
At Mother’s Pet – SVS,
every student gets exposure to systematic extensive learning under the guidance
of trained and insightful educators
so that they develop a
global outlook.
We target to furnish
and embellish the dynamic generation who can confront the challenges of the
vast world that awaits their arrival.
We have spared no
efforts to make learning a joyful and sustainable activity for our students,
making education a real celebration.
My experience and my
understanding say:
“EVERYONE
SHOULD ACT ONLY IN WAYS WHICH REPECTS THE HUMAN DIGNITY AND VALUE”.
When I think about
values, the first thought occurs to me is “dedication
for the common good.”
We must strive and put
our efforts for complete development of humanity. I, as an educationist, put
lot of efforts to create awareness about the virtues that can help the progress
of humanity. These virtues are developed through learning and through practice.
Character can be
changed by repeated self-correction. The Character can achieve the needed
change by self-improvement. In this regard one has to understand, what are
these virtues that can help self and others? We, at our Centre for Education,
value the development of virtues that can help self and the society at large.
We all know that the ability to run a marathon can be developed through
constant training and practice. Understanding, training and practicing applies
to improve our capacity to be just fair, to be courageous and be compassionate.
